There are a few ways to restore a flattened layer in Photoshop. One way is to use the Layer > Flatten Image command. Another way is to use the Lasso tool and select the layer you want to restore, then use the Edit > Copy Merged option.

In Photoshop, go to Edit > Unmerge Layers.

To Unfolder in Photoshop, select the image you want to unfolder and press Command+U (Mac) or Ctrl+U (Windows).

In Photoshop 2020, you can ungroup layers by selecting them and pressing Command-G (PC: Ctrl-G).

Ctrl E is the shortcut for the “Edit” menu item in Photoshop. When you select this menu item, it brings up the “Edit” dialog box. In this dialog box, you can select the “Copy” option to copy the selected area of your image to the clipboard.
